Our History

Green for Life Rwanda (GLR) was founded in 2017 further legally registered in 2020, it has been started by students of the former Higher Institute of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry (ISAE Busogo) , studied Agroforestry, to respond to the needs of rural Rwandan small household farmers who reported that their streams were drying up, their food supply was less secure, and they had to walk further and further to get firewood for fuel and fencing.

GLR engaging small-holder farming communities in environmental protection while empowering them to access energy, food, and income through sustainable agroforestry.
