Green for Life Rwanda (GLR) successfully launched its 2027 A-Season Tree Planting Campaign, reaffirming its commitment to environmental conservation, landscape restoration, climate action, and sustainable community livelihoods.
The event brought together community members, farmers, local leaders, and environmental stakeholders to strengthen collective efforts towards a greener and more climate-resilient Rwanda. The campaign highlighted the importance of integrating trees into agricultural systems to improve soil fertility, prevent erosion, protect biodiversity, and strengthen farmers' resilience to climate change. Beyond planting, GLR emphasized the importance of nurturing, monitoring, and protecting seedlings to ensure their survival and long-term environmental benefits.
Through community engagement, practical knowledge, and collaborative action, GLR continues to empower communities to become active environmental champions.
